We were delighted to welcome First Minister John Swinney to Douglas Sports Centre today alongside colleagues from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland to see the CHSS Dundee Health Defence Hub in action.
The visit highlighted the success of our local partnership, which is helping people across Dundee access early health checks and practical support to improve their health and wellbeing.
Through Health Defence Scotland, people can identify potential health risks earlier, while Active Dundee's Active for Life programme provides a clear pathway to becoming more active, building healthier habits and making positive lifestyle changes.
Together with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, we're bringing prevention into local communities, helping people take action earlier and supporting healthier lives across Dundee.
Congratulations to CHSS and everyone involved in today's launch of this ambitious national partnership.
