Details of Freeze
Please give us as much notice as possible. (Requests made before the 15th of the month can be processed for the next month, any requests received after the 15th of the month may not be honoured until the following month but our team will confirm with you.

Medical Freeze Request T&Cs
  1. All freeze requests must be submitted via the official Unlimited Membership Freeze Request Form or by contacting the membership team directly.
  2. Requests made before the 15th of the month can be processed for the following month. The Membership Team will try to be as accommodating as possible, but requests received after this date may not take effect until the month after due to our direct debit billing cycle. We may agree to offset your first payment when returning from freeze if it was not possible to stop your direct debit payment in time.
  3. Members will receive confirmation of the freeze via email within 2–3 business days of submission.
  4. Members are advised NOT to cancel their direct debit while on freeze.
  5. During the freeze period, access to facilities and activities will be suspended.
  6. Members are responsible for notifying Active Dundee of any changes to their contact details during the freeze period.
  7. Medical freezes are considered on a case-by-case basis and require supporting documentation (e.g., a doctor’s note).
  8. There is no limit to the number of medical freezes that can be requested, but each must be justified and approved individually.
  9. If longer than 3 months, the duration of a medical freeze will be determined based on the nature of the condition and supporting evidence provided. In this instance, members must notify Active Dundee when they are ready to return and reactivation will be arranged accordingly.
