Disability Awareness Training
All coaches at Active Dundee have completed essential Disability Awareness training to create a positive and inclusive environment for every participant.
Disability Awareness Training Service

Dundee has an array of exceptional facilities right on its doorstep. Each venue has been carefully chosen to meet the access needs of participants and to ensure everyone gets the most out of the experience.
Carpet Bowls
Join us at Douglas Sports Centre for a fun and accessible introduction to carpet bowls.
Football
Held at Soccerworld on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, these sessions are suitable for players who are ambulant. All sessions are organised to develop each individual players’ skill level and teamwork.
Adapted Cycling
These friendly and fun sessions cater to individuals with various disabilities, including upper and lower limb impairments. We offer a range of adapted bikes—wheelchair-accessible, tandems, trikes, and hand bikes—ensuring everyone can join in. Helmets and expert tuition are provided.
Active Adults Multisports
Located at Douglas Sports Centre, these sessions offer a variety of engaging activities, including Boccia and Carpet Bowls. Perfect for individuals with diverse assisted support needs, these sessions are a fantastic opportunity to explore different sports and discover one that you’ll love!
Swimming Sessions
These swimming sessions aren’t lessons but a fantastic chance to get active and socialise with peers! Enjoy full access to the pool and have fun in a supportive environment.
Tayside Regional Boccia Squad
Boccia is an inclusive sport accessible to everyone! Similar to French boules or pétanque, it's a target game played with leather balls on a badminton sized court. The Tayside Boccia Squad is a regional development team for selected players, offering a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and compete.
Health Walks
Do you like to walk and have a blether? Our free health walks could be perfect for you. They’re a fun way to connect with friends while enjoying fresh air. It’s all about getting active in an enjoyable way.
Lawn Bowls
