Please give us as much notice as possible. (Requests made before the 15th of the month can be processed for the next month, any requests received after the 15th of the month may not be honoured until the following month but our team will confirm with you.

Active Unlimited Membership Freeze T&Cs
  1. All freeze requests must be submitted via the official Unlimited Membership Freeze Request Form or by contacting the membership team directly.
  2. Requests made before the 15th of the month can be processed for the following month. The Membership Team will try to be as accommodating as possible, but requests received after this date may not take effect until the month after due to our direct debit billing cycle.
  3. Members will receive confirmation of the freeze via email within 2–3 business days of submission.
  4. Members are advised NOT to cancel their direct debit while on freeze.
  5. During the freeze period, access to facilities and participation in programmes will be suspended
  6. Spaces in any block booked activity programmes may be held at the discretion of programme coordinators who will contact the member directly to discuss.
  7. Members are responsible for notifying Active Dundee of any changes to their contact details during the freeze period.
  8. Each Active Unlimited member is entitled to two free freezes during the lifetime of their membership and freezes can be requested for any reason.
  9. Each freeze must be for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months.
  10. If a member wishes to resume their membership earlier than the stated end date, they must contact the membership team to reactivate it.
  11. If a member cancels their Unlimited Membership and re-joins within 3 months, any previous freezes will remain on their record and count towards the 2 total freezes allowed.
